The engineering firm Équipe Laurence adds a key link to its network with the opening of a regional office in Quebec City
QUEBEC, Oct. 20, 2026 /CNW/ — The civil engineering firm Équipe Laurence has just reached another important milestone in the development of its network creating its 10th regional office in Quebec City, in the Ste-Foy borough. The firm is now located at 925 Avenue de la Grande Allée West, Suite 350-E, in Quebec City. With this move, Équipe Laurence expands its presence in Eastern Quebec, having already established a regional office in Rimouski that serves the Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, and Côte-Nord regions.
“We are confident that we can offer a unique range of services to clients in both the public and private sectors, having developed significant multidisciplinary expertise over the years through numerous major real estate development projects, large-scale infrastructure projects, and work in more than 150 cities and municipalities,” said its president, Alexandre Latour.
For Équipe Laurence, this new regional office will enable the company to forge extensive business ties with real estate developers, homebuilders, contractors from all sectors, and municipal authorities–not only in the greater Quebec City metropolitan area but also with the Saguenay–Lac-St-Jean region, where the firm has just secured a major contract for the complete redevelopment of an artificial snow production and management system for the Mont-Bélu ski resort in La Baie. The firm will oversee the multidisciplinary project, which requires services in civil engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, and landscape architecture.
Furthermore, drawing on its expertise in Quebec’s ski resorts, Équipe Laurence is contributing to the development of Sommet Timber, the new ski area at the iconic Mont-Tremblant Resort, a $42.5 million project scheduled to open for the 2027–2028 season. This expansion will add nearly 25 hectares to the current ski area and help support the growth of the Versant Soleil sector and the arrival of Club Med. The design of the plans and specifications for the new sector’s infrastructure–including the trail layout, the snowmaking system, and the associated civil infrastructure–bears the Équipe Laurence signature.
“For more than 30 years, the firm and Mont-Tremblant Resort have cultivated a relationship of mutual trust that has enabled the firm to support its client in carrying out numerous projects that have contributed to the resort’s development and reputation,” said Mr. Latour.
Furthermore, the firm serves as a qualified supplier for Hydro-Québec, providing specialized resources to oversee civil engineering construction and rehabilitation projects throughout Quebec–a fact that, according to Équipe Laurence’s president, attests not only to the trust placed in the firm but also to the quality of its expertise and customer service.
Mr. Latour concluded by expressing his belief that Équipe Laurence could carve out a niche for itself in civil engineering among the many major infrastructure projects and construction sites planned for the near future in the Capitale-Nationale region. Drawing on the strength of its network and its recognized expertise, the firm also intends to support the region’s smaller municipalities by assisting them with their financing efforts and grant applications, in order to help bring to fruition projects essential to their development.
