Can Celestica keep the good times rolling?
TD Cowen analyst John Shao says longer-term demand visibility supports Celestica (Celestica Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials NYSE:CLS) as his Canada Best Idea.
As reported by the Globe and Mail, Shao maintained his “Buy” rating and US$430.00 target on Celestica. The average target is US$467.45.
“Long-term demand visibility remains the key investor debate,” Shao said.
Using his updated industry framework, Shao estimates more stable refresh-driven demand after 2030 could support about US$20-billion of annual revenue, roughly in line with his fiscal 2026 run-rate estimate.
The analyst said improved visibility, along with a revamped modelling approach, underpins his view on the stock.
Celestica also announced a new leadership structure, naming Mandeep Chawla to the newly created role of Group President, Global Markets, effective Oct. 1.
Chawla, who has served as CFO since 2017, will oversee commercial execution and global market expansion.
Todd Ankenmann, currently senior vice-president of finance, will succeed Chawla as CFO.
CEO Rob Mionis said the appointments are intended to help Celestica scale as demand grows across its end markets.
Shao said Celestica’s long-term demand outlook remains the key question for investors, but his updated work points to a more durable revenue base than previously assumed.
