Chris Arthur Named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 Wealth Professional Awards

Bold Wealth Partners CEO and Founder Recognized for Building an Independent Model for Advisors and Their Client Families

TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 /CNW/ — Chris Arthur, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Bold Wealth Partners Inc., has been named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 Wealth Professional Awards, held June 4 at Liberty Grand in Toronto.

Now in its 12th year, the Wealth Professional Awards recognize individuals, teams, and firms across Canada’s wealth management sector, with winners announced in 24 categories. Nominations closed Feb. 13, and submissions were scored against published category criteria by a panel of at least three judges per category, with any judge holding a conflict of interest recusing themselves.

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year category recognizes a professional under 40 who has demonstrated leadership, vision, and drive in building or leading a business in wealth management. Judges weigh contributions such as improving access to wealth management services, advancing financial literacy, and commitment to mentorship and community development, alongside evidence of a strong ethical foundation and a focus on the financial well-being of clients.

Arthur founded Bold Wealth Partners to address a gap he saw between how the industry described independence and what advisors actually experienced.

“We kept seeing talented advisors working in models that did not serve them or their clients the way they deserved,” said Arthur. “The industry talked about independence, and we set out to build it properly: real independence, institutional-grade portfolio management, and an economic model built around client families, with advisors properly supported to serve them. “

Arthur credited the recognition to the firm’s team and partners.

“This belongs to the people who built Bold Wealth with us,” he said. “Our team does the work every day, advisors took a chance on a young firm, and client families trusted us with what matters most to them. Nobody wins an award like this alone. I just get to hold it. The award is nice. Earning that trust every day is the real prize.”

Kevin Kim, Chief Operating Officer of Bold Wealth Partners, joined the firm in December 2023.

“When I joined Bold in December 2023, we were a team of four, and Chris was already setting goals far bigger than the firm we had,” said Kim. “He leads with direction and speed: ambitious targets, a quick yes to good ideas, and no patience for bureaucracy.
