The Futr Corporation: Buy, Sell or Hold?
Research Capital analyst Greg McLeish says The Futr Corporation’s (The FUTR Corporation Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSXV:FTRC) partnership with Feenix Payment Systems expands its dealership offering and strengthens its customer acquisition channel.
In a July 16 special report, McLeish reiterated his “Speculative Buy” rating and $3.00 target on Futr.
Futr announced a strategic partnership with Feenix Payment Systems that expands its dealership offering beyond consumer vehicle loan payments into dealer working capital, payment processing, point-of-sale infrastructure and future consumer data integration.
“We believe the partnership materially strengthens FUTR’s value proposition to auto dealerships by broadening its commercial relationship beyond the finance office while further embedding the Company within day-to-day dealership operations,” McLeish said.
The agreement includes a $500,000 strategic investment from Feenix, which McLeish said reinforces long-term alignment between the two companies.
The announcement follows stronger dealership momentum earlier this month. Futr signed 51 dealership rooftops in Q2 2026, including 15 net new dealerships and 36 legacy dealers returning after the launch of Payments 2.0. Combined with 22 dealership agreements in Q1, the company has signed 73 rooftops year-to-date, while its active dealer network has expanded to more than 180 dealerships.
McLeish said the return of legacy dealers validates Payments 2.0 and suggests onboarding and customer conversion have improved.
The analyst said the Feenix partnership should improve dealer retention and increase the strategic value of the dealership channel by adding working capital, payments and point-of-sale infrastructure to Futr’s platform.
“We believe the expanding dealership network is evolving into FUTR’s primary customer acquisition engine, increasing the long-term value of each customer relationship,” McLeish said.
McLeish said every consumer enrolling through Futr Payments can become a potential Futr Agent App user, creating future opportunities across planning, insurance, AI-enabled financial services and consent-based consumer data.
His $3.00 target is based on a sum-of-the-parts valuation, including $1.81 per share for Futr’s core platform and $1.08 per share for the discounted value of its FUTR token reserve.
