Turnium CEO Doug Childress interview at Cantech 24

“The most important single thing is to focus obsessively on the customer.”

Those words from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos changed the way some CEOs think about corporate priorities, changing the mindset from a focus on competitors and squarely onto the satisfaction of the people you are actually selling to.

New Turnium Technology Group (Turnium Technology Group Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSXV:TTGI) CEO Doug Childress shares this in common with Bezos. Turnium is an SD-Wan company that builds intelligent mobile devices. The company’s customers are OEM channel partners that Childress has extensive experience selling to. The new boss’s idea for Turnium? Give the OEMs more great products to sell so they make more money. Make your customers happy.

At the 2024 Cantech Letter Investment Conference in Toronto October 9, Childress, who has lofty plans for the company to reach $100-million in sales, put the company’s philosophy in laymen’s terms.

“Our partners are selling one product, we bring another eleven products to the table” he said. “It makes it very easy for those partners to start selling more products and service to their client base. I often say it’s like having a carton of eggs. We brought one product, now we’re bringing the other eleven.”
