Sirona Biochem (TSXV:SBM) announced it has appointed three chemists to its board of its France-based subsidiary TFChem. Organic chemistry expert Dr. Pierre Vogel, fluorine chemistry expert Dr. Bernard Langlois and carbohydrate chemistry expert Dr. Eric Leclerc will “…bring a tremendous amount of scientific insight to our research efforts,” said Dr. Howard Verrico, President and CEO of Sirona Biochem. CardioComm Solutions (TSX:EKG) announced it has signed a deal with Italian-based Meditel SRL. The agreement is a four-year software licence, usage and service agreement. CardioComm will allow Meditel the continued use of its ECG service software, GlobalCardio. CardioComm CEO, Etienne Grima, notes that “Meditel operates a medical call centre that supports general practitioner offices, hospitals, university research clinics and over 500 pharmacies in Italy”. Synchronica (TSXV:SYN) announced it has secured a contract with an unnamed device manufacturer targeting the Americas. The manufacturer will bundle Synchronica’s white-labeled Mobile Gateway onto its entry-level smart phone devices. The deal is valued at (US) $250,000 for hosting and professional services, and Synchronica will also receive $.36 cents for each device sold. Shares of Synchronica closed today down 5.1% to $.185 cents. More…

Dragonwave (TSX:DWI) announced that JAB Broadband has bought an additional mix of two-hundred DragonWave Horizon links to support JAB’s network upgrade initiatives. “We’ve rigorously tested a range of licensed wireless backhaul solutions and DragonWave has consistently come out on top,” said Bret Westwood, vice-president of network operations for JAB Broadband, adding: “Using DragonWave’s innovative Quantum links, we can dramatically increase our capacity at the tower while leveraging the product’s dual-link capabilities to greatly reduce our tower rents and capital costs.” Shares of Dragnonwave closed today on the TSX up 6.8% to $4.53. In-Touch Survey Systems (TSXV:INX) released its unaudited financial results for fourth quarter of 2011. The company’s topline increased 91% to $3,016,534 compared with $1,578,627 in Q4, 2010. In-Touch earned $184,200, which was an increase of 29% over Q4, 2010. The company says it expects to release its consolidated fiscal year 2011 audited financial results by April 26, 2012. “We are extremely pleased with our superb revenue growth in fourth quarter and our eighth consecutive profitable quarter..” said CEO Michael Gaffney. Axia NetMedia (TSX:AXX) announced that its French-based subsidiary Covage has been chosen by the community of Grand Poitiers to sell next-generation network services for a period of 20 years. Covage President Jean-Michel Soulier said “Covage is pleased to have won this opportunity to sell services in Grand Poitiers and participate in this region’s economic development….” Shares of Axia NetMedia closed today down 1.3% to $1.53.

CGI Group (TSX:GIB.A) and Toronto-based Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre announced the pair have launched CGI’s Sovera Health Information Management System, an enterprise clinical content management solution the company says strengthens Sunnybrook’s position as a leader in the provisioning of groundbreaking health care in Canada.
