Englobe to acquire Calgary engineering firm Obsidian Engineering, adding over 400 professionals
Calgary-based Obsidian has delivered more than 3,500 projects across energy and data center markets.
CALGARY, AB, Oct. 29, 2026 /CNW/ — Englobe has entered into an agreement to acquire Obsidian Engineering Corp. The acquisition represents another step in Englobe’s Western Canada growth strategy. Combining Obsidian’s engineering expertise and project experience with Englobe’s national organization will broaden both companies’ capabilities across energy and industrial markets.
