TAIGA BUILDING PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES INTENTION TO SELL TWO CALIFORNIA DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES TO BOISE CASCADE

BURNABY, BC, Nov. 5, 2026 /CNW/ — Taiga Building Products Ltd. (“Taiga” or the “Company”) (TSX: TBL) today announced its intention to sell its two building materials distribution facilities in Rocklin and Sanger, California, to Boise Cascade Company (“Boise Cascade”) (NYSE: BCC).

The proposed transaction is structured as an asset sale and will include the inventory, equipment, rolling stock and other assets used to operate the Rocklin and Sanger locations. Boise Cascade has advised that it plans to continue operations at both facilities.

Boise Cascade is one of the largest wholesale distributors of building materials in the United States and currently operates 39 distribution locations across the country. The Rocklin and Sanger facilities serve customers throughout Northern and Central California, the California Coast and Northern Nevada, and will extend Boise Cascade’s distribution presence in the state.

The transaction is expected to close by mid-November 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Taiga’s other locations and products in Canada and the United States are not included in the transaction and will continue to be owned and operated by Taiga.
