Media advisory – Supreme Court of Canada nominee to participate in question-and-answer session

OTTAWA, ON, June 26, 2026 /CNW/ – The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and the Honourable Maureen McTeer, Chairperson of the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments, will appear at the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights.

The Honourable Glenn D. Joyal will then take part in a question-and-answer session with members of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights, members of the Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs, a member of the New Democratic Party, and a member of the Green Party of Canada. This session will be moderated by Professor Anne Lévesque, Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, University of Ottawa.
