TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2026 /CNW/ — BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) was recognized with 13 awards at the 2026 Canada LSEG Lipper Fund Awards, including the Passive Group Award for Best Bond Fund Family over three years. The awards underscore the breadth of BMO GAM’s investment capabilities and its continued focus on generating strong risk-adjusted returns for investors.
For over three decades, the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards have recognized funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year performance relative to their peers. Based on Lipper’s quantitative, proprietary methodology, the awards reflect an independent assessment of fund performance.
“This recognition is a reflection of the talent and dedication of our investment teams and their commitment to delivering strong, risk-adjusted performance for clients,” said Sadiq Adatia, Chief Investment Officer, BMO Global Asset Management. “As markets continue to evolve, BMO remains focused on helping investors achieve their goals through both active and passive management, thoughtful portfolio construction and a client-first approach.”
“We’re proud to see our investment strategies recognized across a range of asset classes and client needs,” said Sara Petrcich, Head of ETFs & Structured Solutions, BMO Global Asset Management. “These awards reflect the breadth of our platform and our ongoing focus on providing investors with innovative solutions backed by deep investment expertise.”
The LSEG Lipper awards categories were updated this year; the funds are now evaluated within distinct Active and Passive universes, replacing the former Canada and Canada ETF universes. Pooled funds, non-prospectus and offering memorandum funds, and funds not domiciled in Canada are excluded from the eligible universe.
