
Our fifth and final judge for the 2011 Cantech Letter Awards, Ron Shuttleworth of M Partners, weighs in today. Shuttleworth thinks highly of the work that Art Mesher has done at Descartes Systems Group (TSX:DSG).
After nearly becoming a dot-bomb casualty, charismatic former Gartner analyst Mesher rescued Descartes, which he estimated was days away from folding. The company has since become an emerging leader in global logistics technology; solutions that help its customers make and receive shipments.
With all the judge’s short lists now in, we’ll go back to them to find the consensus choices that will become the final nominees for the 2011 Cantech Letter Awards. We’ll post that list next week and allow you to weigh in on it. But before we do, let’s look at the rest of Mr. Shutttleworth’s picks.
