/R E P E A T — Invitation to media – The Honourable Mélanie Joly to announce Government of Canada support for a Montréal cultural institution dedicated to the performing arts/

MONTRÉAL, July 3, 2026 /CNW/ – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Member of Parliament for Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED, accompanied by the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Member of Parliament for Laurier–Sainte-Marie, will announce financial support from the Government of Canada for a Montréal cultural institution dedicated to the performing arts.

In addition to financial support from CED and Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada, contributions to the project from the Government of Quebec and the City of Montréal will be announced by Mathieu Lacombe, Minister of Culture and Communications, and Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Mayor of the City of Montréal.
