OTTAWA, ON, April 16, 2026 /CNW/ – The Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), will announce new funding for 394 organizations working to advance gender equality – the largest Women and Gender Equality Canada announcement in history by number of organizations receiving direct funding.
