Media advisory – Government of Canada to make a significant announcement regarding the Port of Vancouver
DELTA, BC, July 15, 2026 /CNW/ — The Minister of Transport and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, the Honourable Steven MacKinnon will make an announcement regarding the Port of Vancouver. He will be joined by the Minister of Veterans Affairs, the Honourable Jill McKnight, the B.C. Minister of Transportation and Transit, the Honourable Mike Farnworth, the Tsawwassen First Nation Chief, Laura Cassidy, the President and CEO of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, Peter Xotta, and other attendees.
Media will have an opportunity to ask questions following the announcement.
