Invitation to media – Tatiana Auguste to announce Government of Canada support for five Lanaudière businesses affected by tariff situation

The Government of Canada is taking action by supporting businesses as they diversify their markets in order to reduce risk, strengthen their economic resilience and consolidate their competitiveness to help them face tariff pressures.

It is in this context that Tatiana Auguste, Member of Parliament for Terrebonne, will announce CED funding for five manufacturing businesses affected by U.S. tariffs on aluminum, under the Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI).

The announcement of this CED financial contribution will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED.
