TORONTO, Nov. 4, 2026 /CNW/ — The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet to conduct Pre-Budget Consultations.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, in Ajax on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, in Peterborough on Thursday, December 17, 2026, in Parry Sound on Tuesday, January 5, 2027, in Capreol on Wednesday, January 6, 2027, in Espanola on Thursday, January 7, 2027, in Collingwood on Monday, January 11, 2027, in Midland on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, in Ottawa on Tuesday, January 19, 2027, in Rockland on Wednesday, January 20, 2027, in Sarnia on Wednesday, January 27, 2027, in Lakeshore on Thursday, January 28, 2027, in Burlington on Tuesday, February 2, 2027, and in St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 3, 2027.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation to the Committee are required to register by:

  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, November 9, 2026, for Toronto;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, for Ajax and Peterborough;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, December 21, 2026, for Parry Sound, Capreol and Espanola;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, January 4, 2027, for Collingwood and Midland;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, for Ottawa and Rockland;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, January 20, 2027, for Sarnia and Lakeshore;
  • 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, January 26, 2027, for Burlington and St. Catharines;

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the issue may send a written submission by 12:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, February 4, 2027.
