20 solid gold bars up for grabs – The La Course aux lingots scratch ticket is back

MONTRÉAL, Feb. 2, 2026 /CNW/ – Loto-Québec announces the return of a one-of-a-kind ticket: La course aux lingots. Lottery game fans can purchase the ticket starting today and get a shot at one of 20 solid gold bars of 1 kg!

Gold or cash for the top prize?

Winners of a top prize can choose between a 99.99% solid gold bar from the Royal Canadian Mint or a lump sum of $150,000. Although the value of gold may change from day to day, it tends to increase year over year. Incidentally, the lump-sum prize has increased from $125,000 last year.

Tickets are on sale at all retailers for $20. La course aux lingots top prize winners have until September 28 to claim their solid gold bar. Instant win prizes ranging from $20 to $10,000 are also up for grabs.
