Sierra Wireless (TSX:SW) released its fiscal year 2011 results. Revenue for the year ended December 31, 2011 was $578.2 million, a decrease of 11% compared to $650.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2010.

Jason Cohenour, Sierra Wireless’ President and CEO said “In the second half of 2011, we delivered improved operating results compared to the first half, continued to strengthen our global leadership position in the Machine-to-Machine market, and established ourselves as a 4G leader in Mobile Computing. ” Shares of Sierra Wireless closed today up 2.2% to $7.41. Opel Technologies (TSXV:OPL) announced that director Dr. Samuel Peralta has resigned from its board of directors. Peralta advised Opel that he has had to take on expanded responsibilities on the boards of other companies that are incompatible with remaining on the board of Opel. In parting, Peralta said “”For the record, my confidence remains unshaken in the abilities of Poet’s core team and in the potential of Opel’s Poet platform to make significant inroads in integrated systems. I wish Opel success in this pursuit.” Shares of Opel closed down 4.2% to $.23 cents. More…

Computer Modelling Group (TSX:CMG) announced it will increase its quarterly dividend by 18% to $.13 cents per share. The dividend will be paid on March 15, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 8, 2012.

Atrium Innovations (TSX:ATB) announced it has signed a multiyear research, education and commercial partnership with Juvenon and its founder Dr. Bruce Ames. The agreement gives Atrium the right to develop and commercialize anti-aging products that use a combination of acetyl L-carnitine, and alpha lipoic acid, which have been shown to slow the cellular aging process. “We are pleased to both support this cutting-edge research and secure the rights to develop science-based, innovative products in a growing market,” said Dr. Barry W. Ritz, PhD, Atrium’s vice-president, scientific and regulatory affairs. Shares of Atrium closed up .2% to $12.05. More…

The company will then hold a conference call on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at 9 a.m. EST hosted by CEO Kevin Norton and CFO Chris Clinning.
