Wasaga Beach Gets Ready for Rodeo Weekend October 3-4
Proceeds of the Mayor’s Annual Rodeo will support the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank and a new marching band program for Wasaga Beach’s first high school
WASAGA BEACH, ON, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ — Wasaga’s annual Rodeo and fall festival weekend is almost here.
The Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival takes place at Klondike Sports Park October 3 and 4, bringing professional rodeo action, country entertainment and free family fun back to Wasaga Beach — all in support of two local causes.
This year’s event will support the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank and a new marching band program for students at Wasaga Beach’s new K–12 Catholic school.
Last year’s inaugural Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo raised funds for the region’s new hospital and end-of-life care through Hospice Georgian Triangle.
“This weekend is about bringing people together, having a great time and giving back to the community we love,” said Mayor Brian Smith. “Last year, residents, visitors, businesses and sponsors helped us raise funds for two important regional healthcare priorities. This year, we’re asking people to come out and support two different local causes — helping families through the Ministerial Food Bank and creating an exciting new marching band program for students at Wasaga Beach’s first high school.”
The 2026 Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival is presented by the Town of Wasaga Beach, Far Sight Homes and Stonebridge Building Group with support from the Ontario government through Experience Ontario and presenting media sponsors CTV and Pure Country 106.
Rodeo action, live country music and free family fun
From professional rodeo action to live country music and free family activities, the weekend is packed with things to see and do.
The RAM Rodeo Tour takes centre stage Saturday with two professional performances featuring cowboys and cowgirls competing in classic rodeo events.
Saturday night, the action shifts to the Two-Step Social under the stars, with a DJ spinning today’s top country hits and mashups before emerging Canadian artist Cam Brown takes the stage for a live performance.
Beyond the rodeo arena, families can enjoy a full weekend of free Hootenanny activities, including a petting zoo, Touch-a-Truck, vintage car and truck show, inflatables, vendor market, horse-drawn carriage rides, yard games and more.
Admission to the Hootenanny Fall Festival is free. Tickets are required for the RAM Rodeo performances and Two-Step Social.
Families can also ride the 65-foot Ferris wheel for $5 per ride, with food and beverages available for purchase on site.
