Verve Senior Living Acquires The Ravines in Nepean, Announces $20 Million Investment
The integrated campus offers a full continuum of senior living options, from Lifestyle Apartments and Independent Living to Assisted Living and Memory Care.
OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ – Verve Senior Living has acquired The Ravines, a full continuum of care senior living community at 626 Prado Private in Ottawa’s Citiplace neighbourhood. Verve will own and operate the community as Verve The Ravines, effective 22 September 2026.
Verve will invest $20 million in The Ravines over the next two years, supporting improvements to the community and the resident experience as part of its long-term commitment to the property. The investment will support extensive upgrades throughout the community, including renovated suites, refreshed care floors, and reimagined dining and lobby spaces.
The Ravines comprises two connected buildings. One offers Lifestyle Apartments for independent seniors. The other offers Independent Living, Independent Supportive Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. The buildings are joined internally, allowing residents to access different levels of support without leaving their community or the people they know. Respite stays and trial stays are also offered.

The existing team at The Ravines will remain in place, providing continuity for residents and families throughout the transition. Residents and families will continue to see the familiar faces they know, and day-to-day life at the community continues without interruption through the transition.
