WINNIPEG, MB, Oct. 14, 2026 /CNW/ — The Stevens Company Inc. officially expanded its presence in Western Canada with a move to a new, state-of-the-art distribution facility in Winnipeg. Moving from its previous 33,000 sq. ft. location to the new 44,000 sq. ft. facility, the move significantly expands the company’s footprint to support growing demand across healthcare sectors, including specialty laboratories.

The Stevens Company is a 100% Canadian-owned distributor of medical and laboratory supplies. With facilities in Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Brampton, Montreal, and Halifax, Stevens provides valuable services to healthcare providers, helping them serve the needs of their patients and clients for nearly 200 years.

Located at 1 – 155 Haggart Ave, the new location was fully operational on September 14, 2026.

Key Facility & Operational Highlights

  • Expanded capacity: Features 42,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 2,000 sq. ft. of dedicated office space, allowing for increased inventory depth, broader product offerings, and faster turnaround times.
  • First-in-province technology: Houses Manitoba’s first AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system implemented within a healthcare facility. Occupying 1,600 sq. ft. of warehouse space, this state-of-the-art technology dramatically boosts fulfillment speed, order accuracy, and throughput.
  • Enhanced logistics: Backed by an expanded fleet of dedicated delivery trucks to increase delivery frequency and service reliability throughout Manitoba.
