MONTREAL, Sept. 30, 2025 /CNW/ – The Montreal Port Authority (MPA) invites media representatives to attend an in-person technical briefing. During this technical briefing, experts from the Port of Montreal’s Contrecœur expansion project will provide a presentation on the preparatory work, clarifying the steps and process involved.

Please note that audio or video recording will not be permitted during the technical briefing. However, spokespersons will make a short statement and will be available for interviews at the conclusion of the session.

In addition, please be advised that today, September 30, is a statutory holiday at the Montreal Port Authority in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. As such, interviews will not be possible prior to the technical briefing.
