OTTAWA, ON, October 13, 2026 /CNW/ — Today, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, spoke with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Prime Minister expressed his condolences for the victims of Russia’s latest attacks on civilians and energy infrastructure.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Canada’s unwavering support for Ukraine.
He underscored the urgent need for Russia to immediately cease its strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and respect the energy ceasefire.
The leaders agreed to remain in close contact.
