CYPRESS, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 /CNW/ — Panasonic TV, brought to the Canadian market by authorized business partner SKYWORTH USA, announced its return to Canada with a new 2026 television lineup led by the Z85C OLED and W90C QD-Mini LED series.

The two-series portfolio gives Canadian consumers a choice between OLED’s precise blacks and cinematic contrast and QD-Mini LED’s high-brightness performance and advanced local dimming. Available in 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, both series combine Panasonic’s longstanding picture expertise with features designed for movies, sports, streaming and gaming.

Together, the two series are designed to bring Canadian consumers premium picture quality, intuitive smart entertainment and versatile performance for a wide range of home viewing environments.

The 2026 Canadian portfolio is designed to make choosing a premium television straightforward. The Z85C brings OLED performance to home cinema enthusiasts who value precise blacks, rich contrast and accurate presentation. The W90C offers the brightness, color and local-dimming control of QD-Mini LED, supported by Glare Free Max technology to help reduce distracting reflections in brighter rooms.

Across the lineup, the focus is on cinematic picture quality, simple content discovery and performance suited to modern home entertainment. Platform assignments and final model-level features remain subject to confirmation.

Z85C Series: Premium OLED for More Viewers

The Z85C Google TV™ expands Panasonic TV’s OLED offering for Canadian consumers with a premium picture and gaming experience. Its OLED panel produces self-lit contrast and deep blacks, while the AI 4K Color Engine Ultra analyzes content to restore color, optimize motion and improve contrast. Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos® bring stunning visuals and immersive sound to every scene. The Z85C also supports HDR10+ and HLG, broadening compatibility with HDR movies and streaming content, alongside Surround Sound Pro for a spacious audio presentation.

For games and fast-moving sports, the Z85C offers Game Mode Extreme with refresh rates up to 120Hz, HDMI 2.1 connectivity, VRR, low-latency operation and AMD FreeSync™ Premium technology. These features are designed to reduce tearing and stutter while keeping controller response immediate. Available in 55- and 65-inch sizes, the Z85C is positioned for viewers moving into OLED for the first time as well as those upgrading a main living-room television.

W90C Series: QD-Mini LED Performance for Bright Rooms

The W90C Google TV brings 4K QD-Mini LED technology to Canadian living rooms. Its Mini-LED backlight and advanced local dimming deliver deeper blacks, brighter highlights and more dimensional contrast than conventional edge-lit displays, while quantum-dot color helps produce vivid, natural-looking images.

Glare Free Max technology is designed to reduce distracting reflections and help maintain picture clarity and contrast in rooms with ambient light. The W90C is designed as a versatile premium option for movies, sports, streaming and gaming.

Built for both entertainment and gaming, the W90C supports 120Hz OverClock, HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM for smooth and responsive gameplay. Eye care features–including Flicker Free, Low Blue Light, and True Color Aid–help improve viewing comfort while maintaining color accuracy. Dolby Atmos sound brings depth, clarity, and details to your favorite entertainment, while Surround Sound and Clear Audio+ further enhance movies, sports, and gaming.

The W90C will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.
