MONTRÉAL, Sept. 19, 2025 /CNW/ – Tourisme Montréal is excited to host an electoral debate focused on tourism issues, a tradition initiated in 2021. Media representatives are invited to attend.

The debate, moderated by Jacques Primeau, will bring together Soraya Martinez Ferrada, leader of Ensemble Montréal, and Luc Rabouin, leader of Projet Montréal, who will share and confront their visions on priority issues for Montréal’s tourism sector, including:

  • The quality of the urban environment, including cleanliness and safety
  • Municipal leadership for major projects and territorial complexes such as the Palais des congrès de Montréal and the St. Lawrence Riverfront
  • Business and sports tourism, as well as Montréal’s role as a leading cultural and event-based metropolis
