Media advisory – Six new heads of mission to present their credentials to the Governor General
OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 23, 2025 /CNW/ – Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will welcome six new heads of mission to Canada during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.
The following heads of mission will present their credentials to the Governor General to officially begin their diplomatic missions:
His Excellency Karl Anthony Amadeus Dhaene
Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Belgium
His Excellency Anthony Dessources
Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Haiti
Her Excellency Hanne Ulrichsen
Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Norway
His Excellency Andrii Plakhotniuk
Ambassador-designate of Ukraine
His Excellency Dinesh Kumar Patnaik
High Commissioner-designate for the Republic of India
His Excellency Stefan Tomašević
Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Serbia
