OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 9, 2025 /CNW/ – On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Amar Munipalle, Executive Director, Risk Advisory Hub, and Theresa Hinz, Executive Director, Policy and Risk Response, at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), will hold a technical briefing for media on the measures published during OSFI’s Quarterly Release Day.

The release items will include:

  • Final Capital Adequacy Requirements (CAR) Guideline
  • Final Guideline E-23 Model Risk Management
  • Letter to industry – Revision of OSFI’s approach regarding Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs)
  • Strengthening Climate Risk Financial Resilience: Insights from the Standardized Climate Scenario Exercise (SCSE)
  • Guideline E-15: Appointed Actuary: Legal Requirements, Qualifications and Peer Review
