MEDIA ADVISORY – Ministers MacKinnon, LeBlanc and Hajdu to hold a press conference on the introduction of legislation to build Canada strong

OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 20, 2026 /CNW/ — The Honourable Steven MacKinnon, Minister of Transport and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister responsible for Canada-U.S. Trade, Intergovernmental Affairs and One Canadian Economy, and the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister Responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, will hold a joint press conference on the introduction of legislation that will build Canada strong and create certainty for a more competitive, resilient, and independent Canadian economy.

Prior to the press conference, media are invited to attend an embargoed background technical briefing with Government of Canada officials.
