Media Advisory – Minister Olszewski highlights federal support for Edmonton area businesses

EDMONTON, AB, April 16, 2026 /CNW/ – The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), will announce federal funding to help businesses in the Edmonton area adapt to new trade realities and modernize operations.

Joining Minister Olszewski will be Heather Thomson, Vice President of Economy and Engagement, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce; Hersh Gupta, President of Housing, Akash Group of Companies; Jon McCallum, CEO, Flexxaire; and Chris Goodwin, President, Weldco-Beales Manufacturing.
