Media advisory – Minister Lightbound to announce support for Canada’s automobile industry

SAINTE-CLAIRE, QC, Oct. 15, 2026 /CNW/ — The Honourable Joël Lightbound, Minister of Government Transformation, Public Works and Procurement and Quebec Lieutenant, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, will make an announcement in support of a cleaner vehicle manufacturing industry.
