OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 27, 2025 /CNW/ – Media are invited to an embargoed technical briefing held by Government of Canada and Government of Alberta officials.

The technical briefing will be provided on background only and not for attribution.

Audio and video recording of the briefing for broadcast purposes is prohibited.

Embargo Terms

By participating, media acknowledge and agree to the terms of the embargo. The embargo on the documents and information provided remains in effect until Prime Minister Mark Carney signs the Memorandum of Understanding document at the signing ceremony in Calgary, Alberta, on November 27. Participants must not publicly discuss or release the materials or information in any form until the embargo is lifted. Any breach of these terms may result in participants and/or their organizations being prohibited from taking part in future Government of Canada embargoed briefings.

Accessing Embargoed Documents

Participants should contact Media Relations at the Privy Council Office at media@pco-bcp.gc.ca to receive briefing materials in advance. By receiving materials in advance, participants agree to keep them under embargo until the embargo is lifted, as per above.
