MEDIA ADVISORY – Atlantic Economic Panel to unveil blueprint for Atlantic Canada’s economic future

RIVERVIEW, NB, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ — The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, along with other Atlantic federal ministers, will join business, government and community leaders, as the Atlantic Economic Panel unveils its final report and recommendations for our region’s economic future. 

Following months of engagement across Atlantic Canada, the independent, private-led panel will present its blueprint for the region’s long-term growth and prosperity.

Minister Fraser will join Atlantic Economic Panel Chair Don Mills and members Cathy Bennett, Joyce Carter, Mike Cassidy, J. Scott McCain, Chief Terry Richardson and Anne Whelan. New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt, the Honourable Frank McKenna, the Honourable Lisa Raitt, private sector leaders and provincial officials will also attend.
