Invitation to media – Minister Joly to announce Government of Canada support for 19 manufacturing businesses in three Quebec regions affected by tariff situation

TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QC, Dec. 16, 2025 /CNW/ – Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED, along with Caroline Desrochers, Member of Parliament for Trois-Rivières and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, will announce Government of Canada funding to support 19 manufacturing businesses in the Mauricie, Lanaudière and Centre-du-Québec regions. This assistance is being provided in a context marked by tariff pressures affecting these businesses’ operations.
