Former Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Senior Vice-President to join Alberta’s energy sector

AFD Petroleum is pleased to announce that Doug Olive has joined the company as Chief Client Officer.

EDMONTON, AB, Sept. 24, 2026 /CNW/ — As an independent, family-owned fuel, lubricants, and storage tank supplier based in Edmonton, Alberta, AFD Petroleum today announced the appointment of Doug Olive as Chief Client Officer, adding more than 30 years of leadership experience, most recently at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, to support the company’s growth across Western Canada and Alaska

Throughout Mr. Olive’s tenure at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, he occupied a distinct series of progressively senior leadership positions, playing an active part in supporting the company’s substantial growth across both its domestic and international territories. Mr. Olive most recently spent the last 15 years leading Ritchie Bros.’ At Risk Global business, a $1B asset portfolio backed by an international service network.
