Blue Rewards Members Get More from Travel with New Porter Airlines Partnership

TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2026 /CNW/ — Blue Rewards and Porter Airlines today announced a strategic partnership naming Porter the preferred airline partner of Blue Rewards. Starting today, Blue Rewards Members who link their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts can earn VIPorter points up to 20% faster and receive bonus Blue Points when redeeming for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel. In the coming months, linked Members will also be able to convert Blue Points into VIPorter points.

By linking their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts, Members can earn more VIPorter points for every Porter flight and access dedicated promotional offers, including:

Welcome Offers

• Members can earn 500 Blue Points and 500 VIPorter points when they link their Blue Rewards and VIPorter accounts.¹

Enhanced Earning Benefits

• Linked Members earn additional VIPorter points for every Porter flight they take, on top of their base earn of 5-7 VIPorter points per dollar spent (excluding taxes and fees):
  • Earn 1 additional VIPorter point for every $1 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on the purchase of Porter flights as a linked Blue Rewards Member with an eligible linked BMO payment card or,
  • Earn 1 additional VIPorter point for every $2 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on the purchase of Porter flights as a linked Blue Rewards Member.

Exclusive Redemption Benefits

When redeeming Blue Points for eligible Porter flights through Blue Rewards Travel, powered by Expedia, Members earn bonus Blue Points based on the flight booking value.²

• 1,000 bonus Blue Points on eligible flights valued at up to $350.

Points Conversion
