DANI LIPKIN Innovation Sector Head Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, TMX Group Dani Lipkin carries the role of Innovation Sector Head for Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). In this capacity, he is responsible for working with private companies and their shareholders as they explore and consider the option of raising equity capital in Canada. Prior to this role, Dani was the Head of Business Development for Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Investment Funds on TSX. He had also worked with the listings group for TSX, where he helped assist companies in going public. Dani holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies in Finance from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Daniel graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering and was a co-founder of a Y-Combinator technology startup in his early career. He has always had an interest in finance which lead him to stock market investing three years ago. With technology leading the markets, he has been leveraging his engineering degree and previous business experience to help shape his opinion on companies, especially those in the technology space. In January of 2020, he started The Fire Grind channel on YouTube as a way for him to share his passion for finance with the world.
