This Canadian mining technology stock is one to watch, Haywood says
Haywood Capital Markets analyst Gianluca Tucci highlighted MineHub Technologies (MineHub Technologies Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSXV:MHUB) in a Sept. 8 note after the company announced a joint initiative with Abaxx Technologies to apply Abaxx’s Private Digital Title technology to in-transit shipments of non-ferrous metals on the MineHub platform.
Tucci called the move “strategically significant,” saying it positions MineHub’s platform as “critical infrastructure for digitizing and financing commodity supply chains.” By enabling cargo such as copper and aluminum to be used as collateral while in transit, he said the partnership could “unlock capital efficiency in a market still reliant on slow, paper-based processes.”
“This is a natural and potentially transformative partnership for MineHub,” Tucci said. “The core challenge in financing in-transit goods is verifying the existence, location, and integrity of the physical cargo. MineHub’s platform is purpose-built to solve this, acting as a single source of truth for physical commodity logistics.”
He said that the partnership expands MineHub’s addressable market, moving it up the value chain from a logistics SaaS provider to a trade finance enabler. He also pointed to the “powerful synergy” of MineHub’s real-time logistics data with Abaxx’s enforceable digital title system, the credibility gained by partnering with a company building regulated exchange and clearing infrastructure, and the “clear path to monetization” through potential transaction-based revenue streams.
The companies will host a joint investor webinar on Sept. 11 to outline timelines, key performance indicators, and the potential revenue model.
Tucci said MineHub is well-positioned as the commodities sector moves toward digitization, describing it as “an early mover in a mining industry ripe for digitization” with a growing footprint and contracts already secured with Tier 1 players.
