What is an options analyst?

Options are financial instruments that derive their value from an underlying asset, such as stocks, commodities, or indices. They provide the holder with the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell the asset at a predetermined price within a specified timeframe. Options are commonly used in financial markets for hedging risk, generating income, and speculating on price movements.
