CGI Group (CGI Group Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSX:GIB.A) today announced it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), a collection of independent vendors that have chosen to integrate with Microsoft’s security technology.
“Security is a team effort and is something that we work closely with our partners on incorporating in everything we do at CGI,” said CGI’s Raymond Daoud. “Operating with confidence is important for any business to succeed. With the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, CGI offers a more holistic and comprehensive approach for our clients through cutting edge research and development, enriching security solutions and advanced integration capabilities to ultimately enable them, in their digital transformation journey.”
MISA marries vendors with solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Web Application Firewall, and the Microsoft Purview Data suite.
The new comes on the heels of last week’s announcement that CGI’s CGI Federal division had signed a five-year contract with the U.S. Strategic Command to integrate solutions across the command’s Global Data Integration environment.
Shares of CGI on the TSX were up 0.2 per cent to $138.01.
