Vancouver's Traction Conf adds Domo CMO Heather Zynczak to speaker roster

Traction Conf, taking place in Vancouver from June 22 and 23, has booked Domo Chief Marketing Officer Heather Zynczak as the latest addition to its speaker roster, which now includes The Honest Company Co-founder Christopher Gavigan, MongoDB CMO Meagen Eisenberg, AppDirect CEO Daniel Saks, Thumbtack CEO Marco Zappacosta, Intercom Co-founder Des Traynor, and many more.
With a valuation estimated at approximately $2 billion, cloud-based management platform Domo recently closed a $131 U.S. Series D round of fundraising.
With more than 1,000 customers, including eBay and MasterCard, Domo has hit the $100 million in bookings milestone and expects to double that revenue figure.
Previously Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at SAP, Zynczak has overseen Domo’s 100% year-over-year growth, most of which is derived from marketing generated leads.
Zynczak arrived in Silicon Valley at the height of the first dot-com boom with an MBA from The Wharton School in hand, and so probably recognizes a hype cycle when she sees one.
The two-day Traction Conf aims to teach fledgling businesses the strategies and tactics needed to foster growth and revenue, networking with representatives from more than 30 high-profile tech companies, including Domo, Hubspot, Twitch, Foursquare, TaskRabbit, Hootsuite, Betterworks, SendGrid, Y-Combinator, Social Capital and 500 Startups.
Presented by Boast Capital, with over 20 years experience helping North American companies successfully claim and maximize R&D tax credits, and pre-accelerator program the Launch Academy, Traction Conf promises to share insights from founders and growth experts that can help entrepreneurs build a brand around their product, figure out the right marketing strategy, convert visitors into paying customers and sources of recurring revenue, scales a sales department, drive revenue through cultivating resellers and partnerships, and leverage customer insights to cross-sell and up-sell additional services.
