Canadian Internet Marketing Conference to be held in Squamish April 14-15

The 2016 Canadian Internet Marketing Conference will be taking place April 14-15, at the West Coast Heritage Railway Park in Squamish, B.C.
Promising to be twice the size of last year’s event, capped at approximately 1,100, the conference will cover a wide range of topics, including Next Practices vs. Best Practices, What’s on the horizon for internet marketing, and successful case studies, with representatives from companies like Google, eBay, Telus, Westjet, Disney Parks Canada, Twitter and Etsy in attendance.
This year’s speaker list features Google Head of Marketing Fab Dolan, Unbounce’s Oli Gardner, Etsy Communications Manager Jennifer Knox, Vision Critical Chief Marketing Officer Tyler Douglas, Canada Post General Manager Jennifer Campbell, Wishpond’s Bree Nakatani, and Indochino Chief Marketing Officer Peter Housley, among many others.
On the evening of April 14, after the first day’s business, conference co-founder Marwick Internet Marketing will host a black-tie soirée, providing food, drink, music and networking opportunities, with proceeds going to local Squamish charity initiatives.
Squamish is known more for its physical beauty and outdoorsiness than for being a hub of internet marketing savvy, so the conference organizers have planned a number of nature-oriented activities, like hiking and biking, to provide welcome relief from non-stop talk about SEO, adwords and “eyeballs”.
It’s a unique event, locating a cutting-edge Internet focused marketing conference in the mountainous, rugged heart of B.C.’s Sea to Sky region.
Marwick Internet Marketing and Jelly Digital Marketing developed the CIMC to bring together “the top talent in digital marketing from across North America to discuss the future of marketing.”
Tickets are still available, ranging from $199 to $799, through Eventbrite.
