Montreal-based Internet of Things data analytics company mnubo has partnered with Australian IoT product development agency Buzz Connect to provide brands with data-driven insights into products, such as for example the Budweiser Bud-E fridge, a beer refrigerator that celebrates along with you when your team scores and lets you know when supplies are running low.
Buzz Connect also works with Quantas Airlines, for whom they developed the Quantas Bag Tag, Victoria Bitter, the Australain beer company for whom they developed the VB Cricket Scoreboard, and Budweiser, for whom they made the Red Light that turns itself on when your favourite team scores a goal.
“Buzz’s solutions epitomize the power of IoT to create consumer value. Brands are now able to build and enhance a dynamic, two-way relationship with their customers fostering deeper engagement, cultivating loyalty and driving incremental revenues,” said mnubo CEO Frederic Bastien. “Our partnership provides connected brands a clear path to monetize their data assets.”
Part of the challenge of marketing today is for brands to leverage data analytics and connected technology to provide memorable consumer experiences.
“For the first time leading connected brands will gain 360° insights on how their media campaigns and marketing strategies impact real-time usage and engagement,” said Head of Buzz Digital Slade Sherman. “mnubo’s purpose-built IoT analytics service will empower connected product manufacturers with a strategic decision-making engine.”
In May, mnubo raised a $6 million Series A round, led by White Star Capital with an assist from Industrial IoT funders McRock.
