Reportedly valued at $2 billion, SurveyMonkey raised $250 million last December.
The Traction conference, whose focus is on business growth and customer acquisition, will take place at Vancouver’s Harbour Event Centre.
Selina Tobaccowala founded Evite.com in 1997, which was acquired by Ticketmaster in 2001 and now issues more than 3 million invitations per month. She went on to become Senior Vice President of Product and Technology for Ticketmaster’s European division, managing over 200 employees in Ticketmaster’s Product, Technology and Operations team.
Focusing on marketing, product development and engineering, Tobaccowala joined SurveyMonkey in October 2009, during which time she’s seen the company grow from 19 employees to 230.
This addition to the Traction conference lineup adds to an already impressive roster of speakers, including Meerkat’s Ben Rubin, Hootsuite’s Ryan Holmes, Marketo CEO Phil Fernandez, and Linda Weinman of Lynda.com which was recently acquired by LinkedIn for $1.5 billion.
With two months left until the conference, less than 100 tickets remain.
