This analyst likes Calian Group right now

Ventum analyst Rob Goff maintained a “Buy” rating and $94.00 target on Calian Group (Calian Group Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSX:CGY) ahead of its second-quarter fiscal 2026 results, saying the company could again outperform expectations.

“We see potential outperformance following two consecutive quarterly beats,” Goff said in an April 27 preview.

Goff expects Q2 revenue of $214.3-million and Adjusted EBITDA of $21.5-million, broadly in line with consensus at $215.7-million and $22.2-million. His EPS estimate of $1.04 is slightly above the Street at $0.97.

He expects revenue to rise 10.7% year-over-year and three% sequentially, with EBITDA margin improving to 10.0% from 9.0% a year earlier.

Goff said Defence and Space should account for about 69% of revenue but roughly 94% of EBITDA before shared services, reflecting stronger margins in that business. Essential Industries is expected to represent about 31% of revenue, with lower margins.

For fiscal 2026, Goff forecasts revenue of $856.9-million, Adjusted EBITDA of $90.9-million and EPS of $4.34, slightly ahead of consensus. He said management’s expectation for margin expansion through the year leaves room for potential.

“We believe our forecasts and the expected consensus expectations leave modest upside as the year progresses,” Goff said.

For fiscal 2027, Goff expects revenue of $942.6-million and Adjusted EBITDA of $105.3-million, above consensus revenue of $910.6-million and EBITDA of $102.6-million.
