Shares of Baylin Technologies (Baylin Technologies Stock Quote, Chart, News, Analysts, Financials TSX:BYL) are near the top of the TSX leaderboard today after a contract win.
Baylin today announced that it had been awarded a multi-million dollar contract from an unnamed customer it described as a “Tier 1 U.S. Internet service and fibre provider”.
“Our Galtronics team gets chosen because we excel in creating engineered solutions for challenging RF design problems and we manufacture these quality solutions cost-effectively,” CEO Leighton Carroll said. “We operate in a fiercely competitive market and customers choose Galtronics when the RF performance matters, and the design requires innovative engineers to solve the challenge. Founded in 1978, Toronto-headquartered Baylin Technologies is an antenna solutions provider with design and manufacturing of custom engineered antennas for mobile, wireless infrastructure and broadband devices.
At press time, shares of Baylin Technologies were up 25 per cent to $0.275.
