What’s next for the game? How about making a living from it? Yep, if you are obsessed with catching Caterpie, Ekans, Zubats and Pidgeys, you now have the opportunity to get paid for your vast Pokémon skills and knowledge via a U.K.-based company called Funzing.
The job offer was created after Funzing.com received an influx of messages asking for Pokémon related activities. One lucky Pokémon master will be picked on August 20th at a location that is to be released to only the thousands of applicants interested.
Funzing.com explains: “We have just one simple goal -to enrich people’s social life with intimate, personal experiences, hosted by people just like you, where boredom and routine do not feature on the agenda.”
The website allows anyone to signup and host/attend events relating to their interests such as tours, dancing classes, tea tastings, and soon even Pokémon Go training and parties. Most events hosted through the site do cost money to attend but also offer discounts if you bring a friend.
Interested parties will then have to compete in “Poke-Challenges” and the lucky winner will be tasked with the three-month long job of hosting events which include “Catching Pokémon’s, Training others on a daily basis, teaching secrets and tips and hosting lure parties, walks, raves and experiences.” So let’s hope the servers manage to stay up during this event.
Although this is currently not the only way of making money off of Pokémon Go. Some people have turned to the Pokémon “Black market” to make a quick buck by selling their accounts (most of which I’m willing to bet were gained through nefarious means). Although it is against Niantic Labs terms of service and the account you purchase could very easily be terminated.
After a very small amount of digging I managed to find some Pokémon Go accounts going for around $100 that let you skip the grind and jump into the game at level 20 with a decent amount of Pokémon at your disposal. But where is the fun in that though? Personally, I would much rather get off my ass and go outside to do all the work my self.
But of course the use of the Pokémon black market comes with its own risk “Firstly, you have very little protection buying items on the black market. If you make a deal but the seller fails to send across the information, such as the Pokemon account login, you can’t sue for breach of contract or call the police to complain,” said Tristan Liverpool, director of systems engineering at cyber-security and load-balancing firm F5 Networks to Mirro.co.uk. So you might want to think twice if you’re considering buying a Pokémon account.

I dont want to make to many friends. The more you have the bigger target your back is. And its super easy to hit 20. Wonder how this plays out.
