Toronto’s BuzzBuzzHome rolls out embeddable NYC real estate map

Toronto’s BuzzBuzzHome, which provides data and insights for the housing and construction market, has rolled out an embeddable construction map that displays all new real estate development listings in New York City.

“It’s an opportunity to create more efficiency in the marketplace by taking work that our team has already done and making it freely available for any site to use,” said BuzzBuzzHome Executive Vice President Kiyoko Fujimura.

The New York offering follows a successful trial of the platform for the San Francisco market in popular real estate publication The Registry SF.

Home browsers can apply filters to the map to look for specific requirements, like number of rooms, in specific neighbourhoods.

BuzzBuzzHome promises to roll out embeddable maps for other markets in the near future, but perhaps more interesting is that they plan to add a “buy now” button in early 2016, basically turning their site into an online real estate shopping platform.

Founded in 2009 by Matthew Slutsky and Cliff Peskin, BuzzBuzzHome has become one of the more authoritative websites on the North American real estate market, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and New York.

With the development of searchable and embeddable maps, featuring some fairly in-depth analytics, and the imminent deployment of a “buy now” button, BuzzBuzzHome is poised to become a supply-side real estate player.

BuzzBuzzHome Vancouver

BuzzBuzzHome operates as an online repository dedicated to new home construction and residential areas. Headquartered in Toronto, the company maintains branches in Vancouver, New York City, and Los Angeles.
