Endura Energy Project Completes Installation of Two Solar Projects in GTA

Toronto-based solar photovoltaic developer Endura Energy Developments Inc. has announced the installation of two construction projects completed in collaboration with SolarShare Co-op.

Both rooftop solar projects, located at 80 Van Kirk Drive and 30 Midair Court in Brampton, add an additional 1.2 MW power generation to a previous two projects in the Endura Energy Project portfolio, now totaling 2.7 MW.

A project of TREC Renewable Energy Co-operative, a non-profit co-operative incorporated in 1998, SolarShare sells bonds to interested Ontarians, allowing them to collect returns from investments in projects scattered around Ontario.

“Endura is so proud of its involvement in these projects alongside our partner and client, SolarShare. From signing the first lease with the landlords to the final commissioning, it has been a tremendous team effort.” said Endura Energy Project Corp. President and Director of Endura Energy Developments Inc. Cameron Steinman.

These third and fourth projects were developed through Ontario’s feed-in-tarrif (FIT) program, which entails selling the power generated under a 20-year fixed-price contract.

“Working with a firm as professional and with as much integrity as Endura has made it much easier and more efficient to get these multi-million dollar projects built,” said SolarShare Co-op president Mike Brigham. “We strive for extremely high engineering and build quality in a market often focused on just building at the lowest possible price, and Endura is well suited to our needs.”

A fifth project is expected to be completed in the GTA later this summer.
