Telus begins taking orders for BlackBerry 10 devices

RIM will launch its much anticipated BlackBerry 10 platform in New York, on January 30th, the devices will be made available soon after. Just before Christmas, Rogers was the first carrier in Canada to begin taking orders for new BlackBerry 10 devices, today Telus (TSX:T) announced it will do the same.

Telus subscribers can pre-register here for a BlackBerry 10.

Unlike Rogers, Telus has listed some of the features of the the much anticipated phones.

The carrier highlights the BlackBerry Hub: “Simply peek into the BlackBerry® Hub from any app with just a swipe, and flow effortlessly in and out of your messages and conversations”, the improved touchscreen keyboard, the camera with “Time Shift Mode”, and BlackBerry Balance, which lets users separate private and work data.

On December 17th, RIM announced it had launched a technical preview of BlackBerry 10 phones for 120 select customers, including 64 Fortune 500 companies. The company will launch its much anticipated BlackBerry 10 platform in New York, on January 30th, and the devices will be made available soon after.
