Beyond the Rack to present at M Partners Conference

Beyond the Rack’s more than six million members sign up for “flash sales” of designer label clothing and accessories.The M Partners Tech12 Conference, slated for Tuesday, September 11th in Toronto, has shored up its lineup.

The Toronto-based investment bank has added members-only shopping site Beyond the Rack to the roster.

Founded in 2009, Quebec-based Beyond the Rack has generated a ton of buzz as it has emerged a leader in online shopping. The company’s more than six-million members sign up for “flash sales” of designer label clothing and accessories. After raising $53-million from investors such as iNovia Capital, Rho Canada, Highland Capital Partners and BDC Venture Capital, the company’s sales topped $50-million in its second year and $100-million in its third.

“We are very pleased to welcome Beyond the Rack to our presentation track at the M Partners TECH12 Conference”, said M Partners Senior Analyst Ron Shuttleworth. “This year’s lineup of presenters is a terrific mix of public and private technology leaders from across North America. We are also looking forward to the “State of Technology” panel discussion featuring John Ruffolo, Mark McQueen, and Kevan Cowan.”

Beyond the Rack will join a strong list of private and public companies presenting at the M Partners Conference, including Nasdaq listed companies Interdigital (NASDAQ:IDCC) and Telenav (NASDAQ:TNAV), Canadian listed companies Descartes Systems (TSX:DSG) and Redknee (TSX:RKN) and private companies Enflick and Ackroo.
